Default Civic GX pistons factory forged?

Ok, so i've heard a few people talking about civic gx pistons being stronger than other d series. I read that they are shot peened however. So are they shot peened or forged? I know they are higher than ideal compression, but i need an answer to my question.

i've been searching for 2 days. h-t doesn't let you search for words 3 letters or less so it won't search for gx.

Civic GX is a natural gas powered civic made for fleets. Piston set is around $120 new from Majestic Honda.

I have a set. They don't strike me as being anything special compared to a usual D series piston except for the 21mm wrist pin

Talk to Bense. He is still in the middle of a gx/hx project and has plenty of info and pics. (He actually knows them as well as he knows trannys) He can probably answer any questions you have.
