only tough choice was cams... i have heard great things with the skunk 2 pro stage 2 my tuner disagreed and said he likes peak cams and has seen great gains....
ive searched and have found nothning on peak camshafts???? any he

The specs on the peak cams looks better on the exhaust cam than the skunk2 pro 2. Power gains should be promising on those cams not to mention a lopey idle is expected with those cams as well; but hey its up to you if you want to try something that is different from the rest.

i was just asking because i have never heard of them...he had a set in today and i bought them.... they looked huge!!! but i was just freaking out becasue i was trying to find some specs on them andcouldnt find ****!
but i cant wait till my cars finished now that im not worried about that

I like the idea of a wider primary, but check your rockers, if there is any wear from the narrower lobe you need to get new ones. the wider lobe will be only operating on the 2 narrow outer unworn parts. This will promote lobe wear. I would use NEW rockers with a different lobe design.

i love them. They have been tested before in Import tuner as well. its a great streetable cam that makes great power. it was developed by dynamic autosports and omniman while he was there. You should also check out their valvetrain and retainers too.
I'm running the stage 2 P cam. my idle as smooth as stock even with cam gears tuned.

reminder my 227 is hub hp..not wheel hp....
the ongoing discussion...however...from referring other people dynopack vs dynojet numbers...
a very conservative 10% loss would still yeild me at ~205whp

well im shooting for 200... 205 would make me happy!

i too wish i had money to do sleeves as well when i did my build.
but..its a light chassis...200whp+ 1.8 liter is great.
what fuel set up are you running?
and what crank?

i would recommend rethinking your fuel set up...stock b series inj could easily max out esp when tuning 12.5 compression assuming its pump gas.
what chassis are you running? if your still on a sohc fuel pump...i'd swap that out too

95 si is the car.... it had the ls/vtec in it when i bought it with some aftermarket nuespeed inj in it.... he just did a half *** job on everythign so i am rebuilding it when we take it apart we will look at everything and see what we need to fix
i know this guy with a ls vtec that has less than that done to it with the s2s2 and made 200 wheel without a problem. if injectors are a concern i got a set of obd1 h22 340cc's if you feel like you need them. i think he's using his stock 240's.
