Default 4" vs 3" exhuast

Generally speaking, is the weight difference that much between the two? more than 20lbs or less?

guess it would purley depend on what it's made of. there shouldn't be much or a weight difference if it was the same material/wall thickness since it's not solid.... i really doubt that weight would be a deterent for a 4" though...i mean, the faster spool and increased power would mroe than make up for any weight difference

Someone recently added info somewhere about an SRT4 exhaust test. A 2.5" exhaust that was mostly stright (180 degrees of bends) outperformed a 3" with stock routing (360 degrees of bends). So, if you route it effeciently, you might be better off with 3". I also don't think 4" is that benificial unless you need *all* the power you can get. Few times do people have enough traction in a honda.

THe other big diff is what guage you get. My 3" ended up being 16ga bends and 15ga piping (cheapest), and it weighs a shitload more that the stock pea-shooter exhaust.

Do you sell your 4" exhausts as a kit or just custom?

The difference in welding up 4" vs 3" exhaust alone is 36% more welding. So labor will be atleast that much more then a comparable 3" system for equal weld quality.
