I have enjoyed this board and have found lots of help here. I just purchased a 98 Accord 2dr, v-6 and I love the car. Did have a few problems thanks to you all here I think I have got them resolved.

The first was the tranny, the car has 94 K I changed the fuild and replaced with "honda" ATF the problem is resolved. Needed a clock spring, that is on order and will replace that soon.

My last issue is 2 engine codes.. P1456 and P1457 I have checked all the lines to and from the evap can all conneted, no cracks.

Any ideas??

They're both EVAP system leaks. P1456 is in the gas tank, that one can be a loose gas cap, bad gasket on the cap, or some other reason why the gas tank isn't airtight like it should be.

P1457 is the canister system. Check out this thread, scroll down to my post, for some stuff to check out with that system.
