If you know what your doing....its not the welder, its the person behind the helmet. If your looking for the one that will have absolutely every option on it and/or impress your buddies, go to any major manufacturer's website and find the most expensive one...

Hands down, no question the LDR 1000 APD
It's an inverter, smaller than T/A, has a quick change torch with quick change gas lenses and collet bodies, uses gas dispersion technology that allows you to use less than 1 cfm of argon hence allowing a very small argon bottle, and has superior arc stability anything from 1/10 amps to 400, also uses a recirculating gel which is superior in cooling for the torch. Control for the machine is through simple touch screen and is very easy to use. It also has a small probe which can do quick analysis of the metal your working with in order to optimize settings in order to strengthen and enhance the weld quality. There are many other great features also, like filler rod cleansing feed hole, tungsten cleansing, and even a convenient acetone dispenser.
