best motor build? want a 10-12 sec car..
alright i need motor help i dont have a car yet... but i want to research and know my stuff before i buy something i dont want... i thinking about a sleeper project... car looks stock but pulls... i know alot of people have civic HBs... common parts(intake, exaust, rims, skirts, euro lights and projectors...) so im looking for a good motor that i can work on... this car will not be sprayed (NOS=KABOOM ENGINE)... i would like to go turbo... here what ive heard... im prolly wrong but it what i understand... the LS is good to build B16 and the b18, H22, H23 are good also... but these are spec that i want... very quick off the line(for me Torque makes or breaks a car) around 390HP... (Ive seen cars redline in 5th @9900rpm and max out, but the car beside them is redlining @9900 also but is still pulling...) any help would be good!

...WoW...w0w...ummm yea. Your best bet is to do alot of research on your own. There is a large amount of threads here then can anwser your Q's. Do your own research then come back and make a thread when you still have Q's.

i stopped right there.
oh...and...nsx motor in the back of a cvcc is good. you forgot to mention that in the LS b16 blah blah part. mounts are on ebay.

you guys are mean hehehe ahh i love productive forums.
O yah and guy rice rockets don't got torque muscle cars make torque but that doesn't always make a good 1/4 mile and we pull on them in 3rd gear vtec

well that would assume he wanted all motor, he actually stated he wanted turbo yet he posted in the all motor forum. id say move this thread but locking it would be much better.

Research what guys??? The allmotor HP registry like the majority of ppl in this forum? Don't bs the thread starter when you need to rely on dyno charts to build your engine combo, let alone you follow 1 hp and 1 tq number. LOL some nerve, seriously.
Just do an lsvtec with all OEM parts. Reliable, cost-effective, and is pretty much the fastest, 1.8L, allmotor combo for a street car. This usually yields the most tq.
If he searches, he'll just make mistakes since 95% of the responses to allmotor questions are bullshit, and ppl think they know the answer. But again, those responses are based on what HP figure they saw last time. Very subjective thinking...
