Default Does this let air into the brakes?

Say you pull off your rear brake caliper and then you push down on the brake pedal a couple times and the piston ends up going a bit to far and comes off the adjuster screw and there is brake fluid the seeps out at the back on the seal on the caliper, DOES THIS LET AIR INTO THE BRAKE LINE?... Not to sure if air can enter in through the front of the caliper like that or not (when you let up on the brake pedal), maybe someone can tell me if I for sure need to bleed this line?

ya most likely ya got air in the system....

i just did my rear drums and the stupid crapy ends just poped outta them and fluid came out, had to pop em back in, push around the rubber gromet thing, and then when i was done i just bleed the brakes all the way around.

realy easy can be a one man job.

just use a boxed in wrench and a clear hose, just go buy some from any aquarium place
just stick the hose over the bleeder valve tightly and just loosen the valve about 1/2turn and if ya can either tape the hose up high on your car or have friend hold it up. just as long as the air bubbles travel upwards and not back into lines! even a loop and a bottle will work

just make sure its not HARD lines or they wont seal around the valve and it will look like its blowing bubles FOREVER!

realy easy. i got alot of air outa my brakes when doing that.
just remember start off in the rear and work your way to the master cylinder.
and if in doubt just go over them all again.

i always keep pumpen till the fluids clear like it should be just to get all that old fluid out.

JUST BE SURE YOU DONT RUN THE MASTER CYLINDER OUTTA FLUID OR YOULL HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!

if you bleed them what ya do is get a soft hose that will fit the end of the bleeder fitting. then get a small jar pour some brake fluid in the jar put one end if the hose on the bleeder and one in the brake fluid in the jar. this way when you push the brake down the air goes out and brake fluid will go back in instead of air. i have done this on all my cars. it works great
