Default How bad is it to drive with out a gascap?

like the title says. how bad is it. i think i left it on a gas pump ****.

Just make sure nothing gets into the filler neck or your screwed, but the system has to be affected. (ever noticed if you have been driving it hard or just got off the interstate and it just starts sucking air when you take off the cap.) It shouldn't hurt it, just don't get down on it or drive very far until you get another one ASAP.

i believe that the cap is supposed to keep the fumes from coming out and overall keep the gas fom evaporating when not in use or something like that so u might wanna get one asap

its also used to keep pressure in the tank. Just go to Honda and get a new one.

I don't know if it's the same on your car, but on my EP, there's a little nub on the gas cap that fits into a slot on the gas door. Stick the nub in the slot and it'll hang there while you're pumping gas.

Anyway, just for future reference...

hhaha it was shitty but i got another one.no check engine light or anything. hope its all good and better not see any problemsor i'll be pissed.
