Default Cylinder compression on S/C Prelude

Hi All,
Does anyone know what a normal cylinder compression should be for a 99 supercharged prelude. I thought NA ludes were 185-200ish??...would a supercharged lude have lower compression??

Thanks!!!

Those are about the numbers you shoudl expect, what are you getting?

If they are all consistant, then that is what is most important..

Do it with the engine hot and the throttle plate fully open.

a supercharger doesnt change the the dimensions of the pistons

in short, no it doesnt lower compression.

That comp means your motor is very weak but still has life though, your comp should be at least at 180 across and even that not to good if the motor has less than 100k. Over 200 for all 4 cylinders is better. I will say that your number are close which is overall more important than anything even though you motor is not as powerful as it should be, it's still not in to bad of shape. I'm assuming you have stock pistons of course. I have a JDm h22 with 10.6 compression and im getting 250 accross all 4 cylinders all stock, just did a rebuild though.

It could depend on your elevation and other things..
