Default Signs Of Failing Slave Cylinder

What signs will become appearant when a slave cylinder starts going out? My cars clutch acts so weird and inconsistent that I don't know wether to think it's the pp or the slave.

Odds that the pressure plate is messed up 1 : 8000. Odds that the slave cylinder is messed up 1 : 3. It's $20. Replace it and see if it fixes the problem. Might as well do the master cylinder while you're in there since both tend to go bad simultaneously and they're both problem areas for our cars.

i dont have a b series but i think theyre all the same. hell i have a slave for a d series on my h23. pull the rubber boot back on the slave cylinder and see if theres fluid inside, if theres fluid then your slave is bad. what exactly are your symptoms? sounds like you could be having the same problem as i have right now.
