H22 Probs now i need New cams and would like some suggestions
After about 6 months of constant problems i got my h22 running again last week. After about 10 minutes of it running for some reason unknown to me at this point my exhaust cam was not getting any oil. SO the cam nowhas considerable wear and the journals are in bad shape. So I now have to buy a new head and cams. Since i have ferrea/crower valvetrain i decided to get some cams to do the valvetrain some justice.
Motor is an h22 euroR 11.1:1

Skunk2 IMF
ANd a built head with no port work.
I have never had to buy or even considered having to buy cams so i am completely noob. I have read around but cant seem to find anything striaght forward. If anyone has any suggeestions or cams for sale that owuld work for my **** please gimme some educated options.

My suggestion for a Stock Type S c/r h22a would be the cams i am going with for my own h22a
Rocket Motorsports M/H22x cams..
12.1mm lift and 284* duration for both INT and EX
compare the specs with JUN 3's and they are very similar.. sporting the same lift on intake and .5mm more lift on exhaust..
just with 20* less duration on both INT and EX respectively
^^ those are the B-Series Specs (but they are close/similar.. if not the same)
they are pretty much the closest to a JUN 3 as you'll get without paying ridiculous $$$ for a set of JUN's

Jun is way too expensive. I would go with the skunk 2 stage 2s. I got them in my car, they are great. Good luck.
S2s2's should work good if you can get them cheap. You can get any Crower's for $500 http://www.nipponpower.com/pro...k=210

they are expensive because they are a great cam backed by a more than great company with extensive R&D. The problem is that it is hard to come by a complete set. And when you do, its not at the price they should be......the price is all jacked up just because its a complete set and that is VERY rare.

perfect answer. i woulnd't trade my juns for anything. nice lopey idle, good midrange, and awesome pulling all the way to redline. titan sells jun brand new, but they seem to be out of exhaust cams recently. that may have changed though. inline4 can also get them. as can JHPUSA. you'll be happy with them.

Not worth the money IMO anyway even if you could find them.
Crowers 3's or the skunk2's get my vote.

so why is everyone ignoring the rocket h22x cams?? One person posted about them twice, but no love here I guess.
I have a H22 Euro R also, and I was thinking about going with these cams, but I would like to know how well they work with the Euro R.
