weird idle?????

weird idle?????
i have a 99 civic ex and whenever i push in the clutch pedal my rpms go to 300 then right before its about to stahl goes back up but still idles just a little low and my hood shakes. my check engine light isnt on and it runs fine otherwise. any help would be much appreciated
