Word.

Where's a good place to kick it?

I'm in midtown but I'm down to go anywhere that I can get to by foot or subway.

depends on what you like to do. if drinking/lounging is your thing, the L.E.S. (Lower East Side) is a good place to go. easy place to go bar hopping.

you got the Meat Packing District for the trendy clubs... Hells Kitchen for the Dive bars..... Bryant Park for the Yuppies.. bla bla..

for more of a "touristy" type of fun, Time Sqaure is a great place to see the lights. South Street Seaport to see the view.....

SoHo/Villiage for shopping. Washington Square Park for the ladies and if the weather is nice... there will BE LADIES.

chinatown for the cheap munchies. Canal Street for the bootlegs....
uptown for Central Park.... all depends on what you consider "GOOD"

Good point. I spent a good bit of time here growing up, so I'm over the tourist ****, I just like to chill and kick back. Meet some people, that type of stuff. So bars and lounges are chill..

if thats the case. i would suggest LES. go there anytime after 4pm for happy hour. cheap drinks. plenty of ppl to schmooze with. It gets even hotter on the weekends... Libations is a hot little nook that i like to go to....

go to SoHo, Villiage... even though its catered to the more "upper tier" crowd, such as the 9-5'ers. good place to grab a drink and go girl watching.

i like to go to the Mercury Bar. Located 659 9th Ave. great place to catch up on sports. since its a trendy sports bar...
