Ive got about 18,000 what kinda car should i buy???

 

what kind of cars are you looking at, give us some choices

 

their are so many choices that you have...especially if you plan on getting a civic...the money left over...you could do everything with the quickness...give us your options...

 

i want something that i can supe up pretty cheap preferably a dohc motor non hb. prolly a coupe of somesort something that can stay street legal and i can get about 230 or 250 hp out of. Thx guys

 

if you got 18K cash...buy a 92-95 Civic HB...~2-4K depending on year, trim, condition. Spend 6K on a built CRvtec setup, reliable 12's. 1K on a nice suspension setup w/brakes. 1-2k on a nice paint job. couple hundred on some nice seats. spend the other $$$$$ in some nice investments or in a nice mutual fund

if you want a coupe i would go with like a 96-00 civic. you can get one of those for roughly 6-8 thousand then with the money left get a nice suspension that can handle the power you are going to add and drop in a built b18

 

what engine swaps are available for a 2001 or 02 civic coupe???

 

soon there will be the rsx-s motor (hasport is working on the mount kit right now)

 

Do you know what the whp that the rsx s motor puts out and apprx how much???

 

import youself a RHD hatch. inlinefour.com had that one for 16,000 wich was crazy high so you shoud be able to get one..

 

First off, according to his past posts, he already has a 2002 EX coupe and he was interested in getting a turbo for it. Now he's saying that he has 18,000 and he's wondering what car to get. In the integra forum, he says that he wants to get an integra and i remember him asking about a H22 swap for his 2002 civic. What the hell is goin on here with this guy.

 

if i had 18k.....92 Civic EX Coupe, B18B, B18C5 tranny w/ lsd, p&p, head and valve work, je and crower, get compession to 8:1, drag gen 3 turbo kit, msd ignition, venom intake manifold, thermal turbo exhaust. seen it done before, but with an electromotive system added to it. one story i heard fro the guy was a race with a GSR. he wasn't running the turbo and still took him like nothin'!

P.S. - i said EX because I'm persommelly starting to want a little luxury inside my car.
