I've got that exact tow hook in my basement. Pm me if you want it. 50 shipped. The one on s2ki.com is different. The one pictures above, like the one I have, are from a BMW racing group.

Dang, I need to go peddle stuff over there then.

$55 shipped on ebay

There are some different brand hooks out there that claim to keep the hook from binding in the 'down' position. Frankly I'd much rather just use a tow strap and know it's going to be accessable when needed.

I find it funny how tow hooks are the cool show car accessory (ie the Benen bar) for cars that never see the track

I have a traction bar that eliminates the towhook points in the front, so I want something functional that looks good. And this hook is nice. I'll let you know how it works out.

Yes its gairly ghetto, but it does look like a nice option to the front tow hook issue and it won't rip your bumper off!

On the S2K is there a stock hole/bolt in the bumber to screw these into? If not does the kit include these items?

I dont know about that but those tows hook the topic is about is aluminum and its appears the person who makes them accounted for not being a steel loop by the extra thickness.

You can get washers and nuts with the capacity to deal with the job of holding a tow hook to place them on the frame where ever you choose.
