obx is not a name associated with quality
try:
apexi world sport (ws)
rsr exmag
skunk2

or just go to a muffler shop and have them weld up a custom exhaust

Would it work out better to do the custom one?

I have on OBX system on my h22 civic hatchback, it is stainless piping, with mild steel flanges. it has held up very well for the past 3 years. It is great quality and has worked out as well as my Apex's Dunk on my accords, as a matter of fact when theMILD steel Apex'i midpipe got screwed up on my accord I replaced it with an OBX mid section.
Overall my experience with OBX exhausts is very good andI would not hesitate to buy another one myself or recommend it.
THe only issue with OBX is psotty quality control, most of their stuff is fine but sometimes stuff is a little off.

Would it be cheaper to get a custom exhaust from a muffler shop?

the obx systme on my civic was $230 shipped, i traded the muffler for a nicer magnaflow a few weeks back finally. the mid pipe for the accord was $130 shipped.
I would love to find 2.5 inch stianless mandrel bends that cheap.
