I was just "Wondering" has anybody ever used a turbo manifold as a regular header????

 

That would be counter-productive.

 

Im not saying like buying a turbo manifold just to use it as a header. i was just wondering if someone just had one laying around and put it on their car or their beater

yeah sure..get one of those equal length obx turbo manifolds off ebay and have an exhaust shop custom fab a downpipe.....i also thought about doing this after seeing a ford focus at the track,,the headers for them look like turbo manifold.

I just ordered a Full-Race manifold, gonna run it as a header. It should match with my BOV on the AEM CAI and my BOV sound maker.

 

correct me if im wrong but dont u want the longest runners before merge u can get for an all motor car

a pipe is a pipe. you can use it... dont expect greater power gains over NA specific headers though. while your at it go buy a sparks header and cut a hole in it and run it as a turbo one

 

yea u can use a turbo manifold as a header like hx manifold lmfao
