It sounds like either the ignition or valve train. Have you driven it hard recently? And are there any error codes in the ECU?

yes check for ECU errors, normally after something goes bad this happens...

ECU light have been on for over a year as i'm running a racing header and cat has been removed! Is there anyway the secoundry O2 sensor could send the ECU into a kinda of limp mode? I dont think its that as the check engine light has been on for so long! Took plugs out looked a little shity but seen worse! somebody said to me timing belt slipage cant see that as the car is never driven very hard! But saying that it has been lying up for almost three months as i was away with work. I'll drop it into honda tomorrow. Thanks Guys!!

Without the cat and sensors the ECU could have done something, when did you take off the cat? If you take it to Honda they wil only do so much to a modded car because they don't won't to get ther hands slammed in they door if something goes wrong later. They might be able to tell you whats up but they will hesitate to fix it.

took cat off over a year ago and the cars ran like a dream! I can get a o2 senor off caspers but that will only turn the check engine light off, plugs wouldn't stop the car reving up either will a oil change make any difference.the sensors are still there!!

Well one way or another, its in limp mode and I'm thinking the ecu needs to be reset, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and hope that resets it.

Why dont you just have the bracket welded in the pipe to put the o2's back where they are supposed to be? When you change from stock to anything else there are ripple effects opn the car. IE change sumpin that makes sumpin else act different and so forth. So make her feel like shes back to normal and she might start puttin out again.

RE-FLASH or a k-pro, then you can tell it what YOU want it to do.
