Does a LS tranny fit out of a 89 Integra into a DX engine the d15b2???/

If so what do I need to pull off the LS????

Cause i think you all heard of CRXBoy's little tranny incident where there is a 10" by 8" hole in it. So i need to help him find another tranny and there is a LS one at the yard.

Ill popst piucs of tranny damage so you can see what you dont want to do.

 

if you're talking 90+ LS, then not a chance....

88-89 might work....

 

im talking 89 how would I tell. I can get the engine code tommorw. It is a dohc integra LS engine. Car looks like really old school. It is a 5spd.

 

no u cant use it diff engine bay if u had a 87 or below yes but u can not

 

what about tranny's off of 12 valve hondas??? Like 86 ludes etc. cause i cant find a cheap tranny anyewhere just what i got at my junk yard. THX for help gys

 

u have a junkyard???? or just goto one? i mean my family owns a junkyard and we have a book that tells u wut fits wut and all a d series tranny will fit ur block but the d16a1 from the teg will not mount to ur chasis u need a 88-91 civic or crx tranny

Just depends on how much shipping would be. I will talk with CRXBoy today and ask if he would want a temporary 4 speed. Can you make us a price in US dollars.
