What coountry are you in. The hood look like a ZC or 1.6-1 16v. is your motor a sohc or dohc.

looks to be an SI, but since cars vary from country to country I can't tell for certain.

but thats pretty much what we would call an SI in the United States.

Great 4th post, welcome to Honda tech you ******* inbred.

It looks like a Euro car with the 1.6 badge and weird plates, but the engine makes it USDM. What year is it, do you have a sunroof, rear discs, anything like that? I can see you have some Si type seats, but I don't think there's a sunroof. The wheels are 88-89 Si's, and you have a passenger side mirror... maybe a DX someone modded in the past? Best way to tell is to look at the VIN, JHMED# where # will tell you what you have.

 

Sorry I just noticed... are the seats in your avatar the ones in the rex?

 

i dont know..but this is a shot in the dark...the license plate has arabic symbols..? they look arabic...i'm not sure though..like i said..just a shot in the dark that its from the 'arabic' region?

the guy is in saudi arabia and the car is a 1.6i thats what its called...i guess its like the jdm si with the dohc zc,,and it doesnt come with the D16a6 ,,it comes with either the d16a8 or d16a9 which is basically the same as the jdm 88-91 dohc zc..

 

Never though there was an CRX in Saudi Arabia.

hes probably got the only one,,haha well atleast he doesnt have to worry about the honda theft....and im looking at the car an notice it has a filler piece on the front bumper like the civics..?? and i though those rims are north america wheels only? i hope someone that knows about these cars chimes in

does the rear wiper and spoiler eliminate anything? i'm pretty sure it takes HF away...that leaves DX and Si, would someone be able to put an optional spoiler on (from honda) on a DX?

i guess the spoiler doesn't really help because anyone could have added that...

on determining if it's USDM, JDM, EDM...what about the front turn signals? they aren't wrap arounds so wouldn't that give it away (USDM)?

not true ..some models dont have the wrap around...plus i think everyone knows its not jdm,,its left hand drive and is a 1.6i-16 valve (that is the model)...they probably get the same thing as UK seeing how its left hand drive....

man i'm not from suadi arabia this is JORDAN plates, the car originally came from KWAIT and the car came as is when the last owner bought it, no sunroof, d16a6, 1988, just A/C. i guess the seats are si. the seats on my avtar is the same seats after i made them blue and black leather.

and the front bumper i made it like that cuz it looked ugly cuz the last owner put some round lights in them, i know its a d16a6 cuz my ecu is PM6. the car is blue now after a tragic accident. and the car cost me 6000$ here cuz TAX and bla bla bla. going turbo at the moment. and there's only 3 crx's here and the others are totally stock with d16a6. 1990 models came with dohc zc from the area i bought it yet no sunroof. in gulf area they focus on the a/c in thier market cuz its freeeeeeeking hot. the rear disks i did the swap cuz i couldnt find any rear brakes that fits the drums here. any other questions?!

if anyone couldnt tell what it is, can i name it myself

So did you swap on the civic front aswell? Its got civic fenders and corner lights. If you look really carefully you can see the shape of the corner lights and arch of the fenders are from a civic, not to mention the filler piece.

Wow, that is seriously a really interesting CRX. Has the ZC hood and filler piece, but a SOHC motor? Was the vehicle ever involved in a front-end collision and had panels replaced? Check the vin.

*edit* Even has the ZC headlights.
