what can i expect with my apexi n1?
im getting it tomarrow and i was wondering what to expect horsepower and torque wise? thast it....and yes i tried a search and it didnt work..that search thing sux
yea it pretty loud, i use silencer with mine, sounds good i think. but hp/trq wise flip thro you import tunner or honda tuning magsand look for the power pages, it should ive you an idea. most exausts are the same, just try an find a mag with your car in it.
A ticket JK
But with the silencer it is not so bad and my car is gutted to the max.
there is a nice increase on mid and on top nice piece but it works best with other mods.

if lowered 2 inch or more...expect to scrape!!!
but the power gains of this exhaust is one of the best...
and like everybody says..it's loud!!! gave me headache first couple days driving without silencer
but you get used to it...

If it's on a lowered hatchback, then expect to smash the piping and muffler on everything.
That **** ***** way low on the hatches because the piping goes under the right rear lower control arm instaed of over it like most other exhuast systems do.

you still have your stock motor? Don't expect much.. N1 gives decent top end gains, and screams. I think using the silencer defeats the whole purpose of the exhaust. You will lose power with the silencer. I've never installed the silencer and luckily have yet to be pulled over. Had the system for a year and a half now.
LOL..
well for one thing you can expect WORSE mileage, because you will be pounding the accelerator to hear the beautiful N1 all the time, ask me how I know

depending on where u live a ticket...i got one..and im getting rid of it soon cause it hangs way too low on my 93 si h/b...im on 15's right now and theres no way in hell i can drop my car w/o destroying the exhuast...so im looking into the apexi ws
FYI:
I have ran the ultra-loud Tanabe Racing Medallion Echauxt on both of my 1992 Si hatches with B16a and B18C5 swaps and those bitches are LOUD. Louder than the N1, and i have yet to get pulled over for exhaust noise.

Yep. I had mine customized to go over the control arm. It's great now.
You know, I don't mind a loud exhaust if it doesn't sound like a kazoo. As soon as I put the exhaust on, and I revved it up....the only words that came to mind were honestly, ULTRAA RIIIICEEEE!!!!
I like the exhausts that have a very low low tone.

I have one on my 93 hatch, it's pretty loud, especially after I gutted the cat, but it sounds nice, especially when Vtec kicks. It was hanging a little too low (I have 15's), so I went to a muffler shop and had them heat the piping a little, bend it up about 2 inches, and they actually pushed the muffler in a little, so it was not sticking out as far, they also added a small skid plate right where the back of the muffler is the lowest. You can't see the plate unless you're under the car, it works really well, all the adjustments and skid plate only cost me 25 bucks, and about 30minutes, it's definately worth it. My roommate is using N1 on his 95 Integra, on 15's, and he has a small hole in the bottom from scraping too much.
