Default a question for b20b/b20z

can any body tell me the difference between two motor...and how different it is when tuned...which is better?...cuz im thinking about b20 vtec swap and don't wanna buy a b20b if it isn't better than a b20z....or is it both the same when tuned...?

The only difference in the bottom end is pistons. If you change these, it doesn't matter which B20 you get.

oh great thankx...yea it's hard these dayz to find a b20z...so that's why i was wondering if it matters about the b20b and b20z block...but if it's like you said that changing the piston it shouldn't be different..then imma just go buy a b20b then...thankx again

b20b are hella cheap passwordjdm has them for $549.99 longblock.but a b20z longblock go for about $750-900 and are super hard to find.if your gonna run the stock block then go with the b20z but if chaning piston as said above then just go with a b20b.
