Default Installing my stock shifter, need torque specs!!

After deciding my stock shifter suits me more so than the DC short shifter w/ poly bushing I'm taking the whole setup out. Does anyone know the torque specs on the bolt that goes through the circular rubber bushing right up against the tranny. It's a 12 mm bolt. Thanks

I tightened it all the way and it seems to veer off to the left and the other end of the bar isn't lined up properly. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you sure you have everything put back together correctly? The bolt shouldn't cause any problems, its either on or off.

DOn't have a type r car per say, but did you remember to add the mental plate over the rubber/poly pad that snugs everything to the underside of the car?
