Corbeau A4 uncomfortable
I am currently using black Corbeau A4s, and this car is also my DD, and the seat is just too uncomfortable. It's not necessarily because of the firmness of the cushion, the seating position just seems awkward. I also have cloth GSR seats, and they are certainly more plush (if you can call them plush) but they are also uncomfortable in the same manner.
If I sit all the way back in the seat with my back straight, I feel like I am going to fall out forward (using factory seat belts, yuck) during cornering. If I slouch a little by sliding forward, I feel much more secure, but that position gives me back fatigue after a little while.
The only explanation I can come up with is that these seats were not designed for my body type.
I am 5'7", 135lbs
I am looking for a seat that is:
1. For small drivers
2. Is comfortable (no back fatigue, yet still grips you when sitting upright)
2. Not too expensive
Help!

1) most manufacturers give specs on the seat. Usually there is a
GT size (big fellas) and vanilla (petite)
2) really have to try out a seat before you buy it.
3) need $$ price range $$$
I loved my Recaro SRD when I had it.

Ya, SRDs fit small guys pretty well. I happen to really love the recaros in the evo8s. They fit me (same build as you) like a custom made seat, maybe they would be good for you too.
Well the A4s are the standard, not wide version, so it is already the "vanilla" as you put it. The rib and shoulder area is nice and snug, but the lower back is not.
I will look into the SRDs, aren't those the integra type-r seats? It would make sense that they are also comfortable, since Honda knew the car would be used as dd as well as a weekend racer.
I sat in the new 06 Si seats at the auto show and they are terrific - padded and snug - so I know it is possible for me to find a seat that I like.
Thanks for the input so far. I am only going to buy a driver's side seat, and my budget is up to $400. I will buy used if necessary.

How about Sparco Torino 2's? http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_street.asp?id=195
They're pricey, but maybe you could find them used?
