how do i go about draining my 89 ef gastank?

get under the car on the drivers side of the fuel tank ,,its right by the lower control arm and is a 17mm bolt if i remember...just be carefull with that gas,,dont smoke

if you're lucky enough to have a bolt there.
i didn't have a bolt there so had to cpyhen it out as much as i can and than i dropped the tank and cpyhen it again.

that means your gas tank was replaced with aftermarket...the oem tanks have it

i have the car up and im looking under it and i dont see no drain plug? where exactly is it located?

the tank is empty thanks guys.. now i gotta take the takn down? anyone have a easy way of doing this.. i gota change the fuel pump to a 255lhp walbro

i tried takin the back seat out and its just a sending unit and a floater... i have a 89 ef dx hatchback and i was told the pump is located in the tank

its not like that with our cars...we dont have 94+ integras and 92+ civics,,on our cars you have to drop the gas tank

easy with the fuel lines, when i took out my tank i was taking off my main fuel line and it was the bolt was rusted to the fuel line and i ended up ripping hte fuel line and its very time consuming to change the fuel line. i would recommend spraying it with some wd40.
