93 Honda Accord Sedan 5-Speed
My brother just bought this car yesterday. It said it have 92k on it. I believed it is rig some how. But anyways. I know that the Brakes that will need to be service. And I will do that. What else should I do? Plugs, Wires, Cap, Button, Oil Change, Filter, Tranny Oil Change and etc. What should I do on the mainteince? The dealership has no record of this. What brand should I use? What type and etc.. I am new to the Honda world. I have a Jeep Wrangler so it is much different. I am planning to-do all the work myself. Plus I have feel vibration in the car. Is this normal or the Motor Mount is shot? Is there write up on any of this stuff I am about to do?
Thanks

Dran and fil the tranny withy honda manual transmission fluid
Flush the brake system
Change the oil twice
if you have rear drum brakes you should clean and adjust them
The plug wires should be ok (if they are still Honda wires) but yes replace the cap, rotor, and plugs.
That will be a good start and as always fix any leaks the car has.

I bet that front motor mount is probably wore out and causing the vibration the rear mount could be bad as well if thats the case the steering wheel will shake when you stop at a light, with the car off poop the hood and fins some good leverage points on the motor and see if you can shake it from front of the car to back rocking it on the motor and trans mount. Their notorious for it.
with 93k on you should probably look into changing your timing belt unless you have proof it was done by the previous owner.and if you do change it change the blance shaft seal and stop by honda and get a little balance shaft seal holder they make for them Moogocow can back me up on this I think it was a recall issue at one point on the fourgens that seal woul just pop out sometimes and releive the motor of oil in a matter of seconds.
but they are good cars welcome to honda and good luck with it.

So far I have change the Spark Plugs (ZFR5FIX-11), NGK HP Spark Plug Wires, Purelator Pure One Oil Filter, Mobil Clean 5000 Motor Oil, New Valve Cover Gasket with 4 Spark Plug Rings, Cap, and Rotor (Button). The Front Torque mount is broken. I havent seen the rear mount just yet. The side motor mounts are just fine. How hard is changing the Timing Belt? This is really my first time working on Hondas. I am planning to change that and the Front motor mount, Serpentine belt and fuel filter. I have rear disc brakes.
