I'm looking at buying a new set of wheels.
They are 17x7.5 and i'm worried about scrubbing.
I know that the offset has alot to do with it.
Does any one have a 17x7.5 wheel on there car?
If so what size tires are you riding on?
I thinking of going with a 215/40/17 or maybe 225/35/17?
Also I,m going to lower my car a little any where from an 1 inch to 2 inches.
How far will I be able to drop it ?
Any way looking for any info.

Did he have his car dropped at all?If so how far?

 

I have 17x7.5 subzeros w/205/40 kumhos and i have never rubbed, and this a with a 3inch drop.The offset on mine are 45mm.

 

Hey do you have any Pics?How well does the 205/40's fill out the wheel?
I was thinking that the 215/40's would fit just right ,since they are 1/2 inch wider than the 17x7's.And i like the way the 205/40's fit the 17x7's.
