NEVER i mean NEVER should you swap a harness in your car that differs from the oem, like you NEVER swap a 88 Si harness into a 90 HF, only the same model/year.

swapping a diff model / year will cause MAJOR headaches, unless you swap ALL of the wiring in the car. (front to back) w/ relays and everything.

Only ******* RETARDS swap harnesses. Why don't you take out your harness. send it to me, and I'll wire you with MPFI...:-#!!!

Except he's an 05er with ~650posts.

Anyways, he obviously wants to convert to MPFI. But you should never swap a harness, convertion is always best.

I ment the 06 are smarter. yes its much more harder to swap in the si harness..
conversion harness better idea. run two injectors, change dizzy wiring or whatever..I did it long time ago wasn't to hard..

Wire up injectors, dizzy and run resistor box. Parts cost maybe 10$ at a scrap yard (I pocket them, definatly steal a dizzy, junkyards charge to much for a 15 year old dizzy that may or may not work) and about 20$ of wiring from PartSource, and about 2 hours of spare time with a guide, and voila, MPFI to the rescue.

mpfi conversions are so easy, i do that conversion in my sleep.

its only adding 4 wires runs from the enigne to the ecu and switching a few wires around at the ecu and lengthing a few wires. easy stuff

well there is good reason for it. for one a search could have prevented this thread, for two, he can get his MPFI harness from them

You suck at life if you do that.

And FYI, I notice that temp always says:

You could also send it to hasport and they could reloom it for you. Expensive, but they could.

Alot of people can rewire a DX to work with Si now. I loomed mine and I did my MPFI wiring in 2 hours and it wasn't pretty at all. Could care less on the beater.
