your 88's would be for drum brakes (all hatchbacks came with drum brakes, right?)... you need ones for disk.

Wow, nobody knows?

Only the 90-91 CRX Si came with rear disc brakes. No hatchback or Sedan came with them stock from the factory in the US.

Thanks for the confusing as hell replies, gosh, even "which cars came with disc brakes" became a debate. I could care less!
This was b/c the hatchback's rear spindle got crossthreaded really bad late last night & the buyer was flying down this morning to but my hatch.
So he found a whole RTA assembly to swap out to get him home!

might want to make that more clear.

88-89 CRX Si's had rear drums too.

ok... i think i got this right.

you have an 88 Civic Hatch back. you currently have the stock drum brakes w/ SS Lines. You want to put 90-93 integra rear disks on. You will need to get SS lines for a 90-91 CRX Si or any 90-93 integra.

No, drum lines and disc lines are not interchangeable. When looking at them, there is an obvious difference. Check it out and let us know..Im like 99% sure.

You NEED disc lines. Either from a CRX if you own a CRX, or a DA integra if you own a civic.
