Default Looking for some opinions on Nitrous for 5th Gen H22?

I recently bought the Nitrous Xpress kit. Im going to get a MSD window switch so that a certain rpm the nitrous with start shooting. I would like some opinions on what range i should have the nitrous start and end. Also any experences that you guys/girls have had with using nitrous and what is a safe shot to use. I havent opened the engine or done anything internal to it... I got a 4-1 header, full catback exhaust, aem intake and plug wires... for optimal performace what else should i do? please let me know.. thanks again guys

Like -12 degree farenheit plugs. Good for optimal acceleration.

Get NGK Iridium IX plugs

get ngk bkr7e plugs. nice to have a fuel pressure gauge. some say do a compression test just to be safe that the engine is healthy. no higher than a 75 shot and make it engage at like 4,000 and WOT. also do you have a wet or dry kit?

i had a bone stock internals, motor had 131xxx miles, i used a 50 dry shot of zex, timing belt had about 12,000 miles on it and at 90mph at WOT, timing belt snapped and my valves had a very very close encounter with a few pistons....actually there still together right now and forever, stay away from nitrous man.

i have a 2001 sh with 70,000 miles on it. i used the nx wet kit w/ a 50 shot. it took off like hell when it sprayed, but when it sprayed in second gear (wot),... poof! there goes my valves in cylinder 3. burnt the **** out of one of them. thank GOD that only one valve got burnt. so now im in the process of rebuilding my head..p&p FERREA valvetrain. i'd recommend to stay away from nitrous, unless you want to rebuild your head.

Before I tore my H22 apart to get built I was spraying a 90 shot on it. All I had was denso iridium plugs intake exhaust and vafc which I used to add a little more fuel at full throttle while spraying since I was using a dry shot. It held that perfectly, but I would not recomend it. I would not go more than a 75 shot with colder plugs. The last few runs were open nozzle... that was a little crazy but it held it. Just dont know how long it would have. Good luck.
