running rough

Default running rough

ok i just got my rex on the road this week after being down for like 6 months has a fresh rebuild on a d16a1 and headwork but it still runs like **** it didn;t have any power what so ever so i was wondering if the valves needing adjusting would cause it run like **** i plan on adjusting the valves this weekend i dont think it is timing being off bc the car idels fine and everything but just runs like *** lmk

Possibly grounding issues, check all the grounds, ALL of them! and reseat all the plug wires on both ends...I know, sounds simple and rediculous, but that was what was wrong with mine.

Valves wouldn't make you lose that much power. Adjust them, no big deal right. Check your plugs, see if you giving them to much fuel. 6 months of sitting.

Wait wait wait? Fresh rebuild? As in new springs and bored sleeves? Man, you are breaking in your engine at this point. Be nice on it, it will free up on it's own.
