Bulbs talk: Luminics vs Mtec
PIAA is too expensive, Nokya is known for burning your harness or burning themselves.
So. I have Luminics JDM yellows right now, which I really like.
I plan on changing to white overall look.
I can't decide between Luminics vs MTEC.
MTEC, from reviews I've seen, supposed to be really bright with nice color output.
Luminics, I heard nothing but good reviews. (they do have too many white choices however, TitaniumWhite/UltraWhite/HyperWhite.)
I need a set that is dependable(Doesn't burn out every week), and produce WHITE output(closest to white is better. I don't like the ones that produce blue-ish tone.). I don't really care about brightness as long as color output is what im looking for.
What do you guys think?

I've had the JDM yellow luminics and the ultraviolets as well. I love them, they're exceptionally bright, but I think the coating burns off fairly quickly and you lose some of the color. The ultraviolet lose some of the hid looking tinge to them, and the jdm yellow lose some of their deep yellow color. I think they're great for how cheap they are. I also had the silverstars in another car and IMO the luminic beat the silverstar hands down. This was the US version silverstar with the coating on the bulb, not the european osram ones. I really want to give the raybrig whitesonic a try but they're $$$

what could cause that? they all draw 55watt..</TD></TR></TABLE>
many people have their harness burned because the current is higher than the recommended manufacture wattage.
I had mtec's and one bulb burned with 3 months. i tried to get hold of the manufacture cause i had 1 year warranty but no result.
i bought another set and i think they were the luminics but i didnt really like them so i sold.
Someone offered me apc bulbs for 10.00 bucks and i took them. I didnt like the idea the current draw was more than average. I had them for a year now and they are real bright as a matter of fact they are brighter than any other bulb i ever had. when i drive i get cars from the opposite lane blink the high beam at me and i wonder why.
Yea many people dont like them and i know im going to get flamed but i very satisfied with them.
Oh BTW my wire harness is still in tact.
