Default Strut fitting question

So I stumbled across 2 struts from a buddy of mine the other day and they appear to have the part number on them. I looked them up on Tokico's website and they belong or fit on a 92-00 civic. Now I have an 88 CRX and my struts are severly blown. I am putting BLOX racing LCA's on the back for the 89-91 CRX so that I can get rid of the 88 style struts. Is there any way that these tokico's I found will work with my CRX or do I have to go back and look for a new set? Let me know if you can. Thanks!

They're taller than stock, so if you're lowered much you risk bottoming them out. Or just wearing them out very quickly.

I wouldn't do it.

Def wouldnt attempt it... If there was any slim chance they would fit safely, it would be listed as an 88-00...

Wow, this has been asked twice/three times this week and about 500 times so far.
