Default Replacing Axle on 91 Integra, Assistance required :(

Hello forum, im replacing the driver side axle on my 91 integra and i've ran into a big problem. I followed the axle replacement thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382416&page=1 and I can't seem to get the lower balljoint loose, I toke off the castle nut and i've been hitting the living crap out of this thing but it won't pop loose, I even tryed using a jack to push it up a bit and than hit it to no avail. I think its rusted on? Please someone help me out, my car has a lot of mileage on it and I think this is making it harder for me to pop this thing loose . Thanks in advance
