broken clutch need help

Default broken clutch need help

i have a b16a crx and my clutch went out the other day i have dropped the transmission and the pressure plate or the plate with all the metal tongs everysingle one of them are broken, the plate which the throw out bearing presses on.

I was wondering what could have caused this beause this is a farily new clutch, also do i need a whole new clutch assembly or could iu just by the pressure plate the throw out bearing is brand new?

also if i do need a new clutch assembly what year and model car? any help would be appreciated

was your clutch cable too tight? maybe you rode your clutch pedal

yeah i think the clutch cable was too tight but if i didnt tigten it as much as i did then i couldnt get the car in gear. so i was kinda screwed either way

your t/o bearing might have been bad, or maybe the clutch was faulty or even not installed correctly
