Default gsr with b16 tranny

Ok, I searched here and TI, for information, and I apologize if I didn't search right, but yeah. I searched.
What will I need to have that setup completed ?
What can I expect with that setup ? (1st gear speed? 2nd, 3rd, 4th? 5ht?)
People keep saying it would be better than a gsr tranny, but why ? (please explain)
what will lower gear ratios improve ?

Thanks for the information in advance guys...

1st ~ 40
2nd ~ 61
3rd ~ 89
4th ~ 117
5th ~ 153

You will just need a B16 tranny (Y21) and you can use your existing clutch/flywheel.

B16 has a little bit shorter gearing so you will be able to accelerate quicker (depending on tire size).

What are you looking to get out of your setup? B16 gear ratio will help out all-motor wise, but will also hurt your gasmileage on the highway. If you plan to boost, I'd keep the gsr. Every boosted integra-civic I owned had a gsr tranny in it and it work out real good, even though the gear ratio isn't that huge of a difference over the b16 but a tad bit longer. All you need to switch the tranny over to a b16 is the tranny itself. I guessing you own a integra gsr by your screen name. Everything you have will work, just switch out the transmission. Just make sure you pick up a tranny that coresponds to your tranny, cable or hydrolic so it will be a direct swap. The lower gear ratios in your part will help increase your 1/4 trap, initially improving your times if thats what you are shooting for. Someone else may be able to explain more.
