How do they get their improved combustion efficiency?

Seems to be an objective kind of guy, instead of the subjective type. More variety and quantity is more to choose from to make quality.

His site is pretty detailed IMO.

all you wanna know is on Endyn's web page. go to search your info on archive and articles section.
Their stuff is usually not gives you the best power (but it is close) on the market, but their stuff gives you the best quality on the market. All their stuff they sell they also use in all project cars they built for their customers and for all engines they built they give you a warranty which nobody else not gives you.
About their pistons and improved combustion efficiency- this thing works only if you know what you are doing. With their unique pistons and their custom porting/welding job they can improve combustion efficiency and they raise the mechanical octane rating of gas. As far i know every head is individually ported and welded by the specs customer gives them (which octane gas using, what cams, header, etc...)

If you want custom heads designed and reworked to work on your particular application, you won't find it at a "production" porting service. We won't even discuss cylinder head work until the customer fills out a form, listing everything except their birthday. If the service doesn't ask the weight, gear ratios, tires, exhaust system, intake system, including ECU and injectors, cam profiles, static compression, ignition and timing, and altitude, typical humidity, average temperatures, where you live, type of driving you desire to "participate in", and emissions specifications, etc, you'll never get what you want.

But as far i know there are people who have trust in them and there are also people who dislikes them. It will allways be like that so you must decide of your own what to do and to who you will trust.
