I have a jdm gsr block and i wanted to put it together,just sitting. I was wondering which head would be the best to get? I want to go nitrous on it.

MAybe a stock jdm gsr,b16,itr. Remember i want to go nitrous on the engine so which is better.

 

B16A and B17 are the same thing, just stroked.

I'd go with ITR cams. You get enough NA power for when you don't nitrous so that you have a fun daily, but it's not too too aggressive (compared to aftermarket) for when you that that ***.

00+ ITR cams older are not as aggressive

is there a difference bwtween the 99 si usdm head vs. the jdm b16 head. internals? if so which would go better with the setup

how about specifying the YEAR of the JDM head. i hope you are raising compression on the block if you plan on using a B16 head.

a 99 si head would be better in that case.

ugh. 99 head will have slightly better flow. dont use a b16 head unless you plan on upping compression.

I would go with civic type r intake cam and a integra type r exhaust cam i have a built B18AI ls motor with nitrous at a 175hp shot it is a direct port system if you really want the most out of your car with nitrous have some head porting and polishing done and go with 1mm oversized exhaust valves like fereea i have a guy that does my port work the name of the person is mickey pop his phone number is (828)298-8938 he is the best i have seen and he can also do a valve job he is really cheap and he knows what he is doing so give him a try
