No power at low rpm......
I have a 92 Civic Cx with a 94 B18B swap with ls tranny and p75 ecu.... i have intake, header, 2 1/4" cat back, underdrive pulley and light weight flywheel. the problem is it seems like its flooding itself out at low rpm's. ive changed the iacv, tps, map sensor and have also reset the ecu. ive changed the o2 sensor as well. i checked the timing and every other thing possible. the only thing i havent changed was the coolant temp sensor which ive heard may be the problem. ive also heard it could be that the map sensor and tps wires are switched. i dont know how the engine ran prior to the swap but it started up with no problems. does anybody have any clue as to what this could be? it runs fine after about 2k rpm's its just getting there it has no *****.
Not to be a jerk but, are you familiar with Honda's? You know they don't generate torque at low RPM's, right? Almost all Honda's don't start making any power until at least 3 or 4,000 RPM.
i just had this problem..i have a hatch with a b16, it had really bad gas milage and didnt pull at all in lower rpms, turns out my tps was installed wrong, make sure its set in there correctly, and your getting a proper reading

'Tis what I was going to say...might wann ask the dude to test drive it (if u know him), see if it's actinv the same as b4, that might jsut be the way that engine acts...never owned an LS, couldn't tell u, all I can tell u is that my engine usually bogs like that in 5th gear, it's not until ike 3k where it actually produces enough torque to the point where it's normal....which pisses me off, the EX tranny is way too long for the displacement

ive owned quite a few honda's and realize that they have an issue with torque and the fact they have none. but im talking the thing doesnt even want to take of from a stop and stumbles over itself. but thanks for your experience with the tps. ill be sure to check that and post my results. thanks
