i finished my obd1 ls into a 90 hf crx and i was wondering how do i get my reverse light to come on only in reverse and stay off the rest of the time

 

somebody help me please

 

your reverse lights sensor its on the tranny it has 2 leads a black and yellow if i remeber correctly with bullet connectors just look for it on top or the tranny case i think u remove it with a 19mm wrench good luck

In the CRX HF it has a signal from the back-up lights to the ECU at pin-out B9, green with black stripe wire - cut the wire in half and tape both sides up..... your problem is fixed.... mine worked... so should urs !

yes this is true you gotta cut the wire after you get rid of the stock hf ecu..otherwise it will do what you're saying and its also been known to stall out the car when you put it in reverse
