Default Hf Radiator replacement question.

Hi I'm new do this forum and i hope i will find my answers here...
Anyways i have a crx hf with a b16 swap. I'm going turboed ... so i happen to remove my ac system completely and now i had to replace my radiator, due to cracks , and i got myself a koyo hi-flow radiator.. it seem longer than my hf oem. the driver side bracket doesnt fit. Can someone help me with this ? also.. i plan on mounting the thin fan i bought in front of the radiator ... is this a bad idea ? thank you very much

im my opinion, i would put the small fan on. ive gone through more radiators then cars and thats sayin something lol. but are you sure you got the right size radiaotor? i take it you have a hatch or CRX? and if you have a crx or hatch, well if it is an 88-91, then the radiator from either will swap over. you might have gotten the wrong radiator? but about the fan, the bigger fan helps out the collin deal and the thin one prolly isnt a good idea but i may be wrong. the time i tried it my motor starting to over heat so im just tellin ya what happened when i did it. anyways good luck with the radiator situation.

i think you need a different drivers side radiator bracket, like one from an si or dx, it will look exactly like the passenger side bracket and bolts up just like the passenger side if that makes sense. Depending on your fan, if it fits in front of the radiator it would not be a bad idea, just make sure it has reversible blades and possibly you might have to reverse the rotation on it also. You just have to make sure that that it sucks air into the radiator the same way that it pulls air through the radiator when it is on the other side, if that makes any sense. It should be an easy thing to do, i did that on my universal fan that i bought from pepboys, if it is universal they are made to do that because they are made for many different applications. Hope that helps, good luck.

Just fab up some brackets and make it fit. Its just like any other thing aftermarket. The slim fan is a very good idea cause most flow more efficent cfm over stock!
