Prothane motor mount inserts
not true. for the rear and trans mount inserts, they slide right in over the existing mount. For the driver's side top mount, you need to press your old one comepletely out, and make sure the ring presses out too. then press either the street (softer) or race (harder) insert into the center, then your 2 outer pieces. that should be what you need
Negative ghostrider....I bought the prothane kit for my D16z6 in my 95 hatch and all I did was remove the two upper mounts and slide/push/shove the two inserts into either side of the mounts that you refered to as having to press out the old. Unless prothane changed their approach (which according to their website they haven't) then its still the way I did it once upon a time.
Edit: I missread the crap out of your post....he is right also....wow....sorry guy! I just went back to make sure I was right....and we both are...it depends on if someone has already taken certain things out of your mounts like me.
