Home-Made fiberglass front end (made by KaotikCRX)
Rebuilt-Stock D16y8
1985 Saab T-3 turbo - 11-12psi
S-AFC for tuning
DOT-legal BG-goodridge Drag Radials
and a lot of gutting.

you would be running faster if you had vtec working and real fuel management..probably high 12s,,and with some full slick tires maybe even low 12 high 11..

 

nice times, i love budget set-ups. Wow alaska looks really nice, i was picturing igloos and eskimos.

thanks everyone, we worked hard on this car for almost a year since we got it for free from a junk yard after it was in a bad head on collision. We worked hard and we were happy to get it all running.

we would of ran easy high 12's if we didnt have so many stupid things going against us....
we ran a DX tranny (HORRIBLE gearing), the camber on the car is rediculous the so it was a little hard getting traction, internal wastgate was retarded and if you notice in the video we were using the afc as our tachometer since the gauge cluster I ordered off ebay was bunk.

I made this video last summer and we are trying to take care of all the issues to make it faster before we take it back out to the track this summer.
