Default da integra with hydro trans-hard clutch

Hey,
I recently bought a 93 integra, It has a 00 gsr transmission with a cable to hyrdo conversion. THe clutch feel is incredibly hard, in fact i just broke a cable. Im not sure what brand clutch is in it but i do know is a 6 pluck sprung. My question is is a very hard pedal normal for a cable to hyrdo conversion or is there something wrong with the pressure plate. If it is the pressure plate what is a good brand?
the car has an ls/vtec which will be having boost soon

If you have a performance clutch on cable tranny or conversion kit it will always be hard to push the pedal down. I have cable tranny with a 6 puck clutch and it is a pain in the *** during stop and go traffic. If you decide to convert to a hydraulic it will be easiler.

Wrong. Not sure what your using

I have a 6puck stage 3 in my DA.

First with a B18A1 and ls tranny,

and now with a JDM B16A with Y1 tranny,

Its still like stock. its not hard or stiff.
(the clutch isnt, shifting it grabs like a biatch)

EDIT: correction, I dont have a cable to hydro kit maybe thats why mine isnt hard,

it all matters on how stiff your pressure plate is..sure its hevier feeling on cable than hydro but i dont know about cable breaking strength..i havent heard of that myself..maybe check if anything is binding

My last car was a 89 integra(cable tranny) with a 6 puck clutchmaster and that was a breeze compared to this. it doesn't seem anything is binding upto the trans. Im thinking i might get a different pp or go all hydro. not sure how to fit a master cylinder there though
