Default Quick Answer: itr intake vavler springs over gsr intake springs?

Cam used is skunk2 stage 1.

I read that itr intake springs are not as stiff as gsr intake springs, reason being the itr intake valves are lighter. But if i use gsr intake valves do i stick with gsr springs or go with itr intake springs?

The itr intake springs look taller (so prob handle the extra lift better), but thinner (and less stiff).

Head is being assembled today so a quick answer would be appreciated.

Thanks

correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think a valvejob touches the actual valves at all.

Yea it does, ive had a 3 angle valve job, so 2 more angles get cut to help smooth air flow, meant to be pretty good mod for the $$

the 3 angles are on the valve seat on head, some machining on valves was also done though which would make em fractionally lighter

Honda has a 3 angle valve job from the factory. And what you are refering to as a valve job is called lapping the valves in. This removes a neglibible amount of material, and is only intended to mate the surfaces of the valve and the valve seat for a good seal.

Are you sure 3 angle job is factory?

Ive been told by my machinish that its been done and im pretty sure im getting charged for it... which i wont be too happy about if they didnt actually touch it...
