As some of you know, for my 16th bday I was handed my grandpa's 88 crx si, "golf course" car, well we are finally getting all the paper work done so we found the old folder with original stuff in it. It has everything, windows stickers, receipts, everything. It was bought from SMAIL HONDA, paid $10,099.66 for the sweet little car. After reading all the window stickers and stuff, I feel like I have a much tighter bond with this car. I swear I will never let her go as long as it isnt wrecked. How many of you guys have the original papers and stuff for your rexes? I just think it is really cool to have all this and be the second owner, knowing the complete history of this car and how it was meticulously maintained by gramps.

That's awesome! Keep all that ****! When you go to meets and stuff, put the window sticker in ur window like it was at the lot!

Its a lot cooler than it seems, or I am bored waiting to go to football practice!! either way I love this stuff, the dealership checklist for the parts installed and stuff. Correction of price, with the mudflaps, rustproofing, feight, additional dealer servicing, and TEK TOR, Exterior-Interior Protection it come to $11,888.00

I just read the one paper that has a chart listing "GAS MILEAGE INFORMATION" lists city mpg as 29 and highwaympg as 36. What a budget car!!!

kinda funny to read them now and see how much money people really spent on these things new.

 

I am a second owner and have the o.g. papers. It does feel good to know where your car came from and how it got there.
If you want to keep it forever, make sure you've got good security measures. My car sits inside a garage(locked with 2 locks) with my girlfriends car blocking the gate. Inside, the alarm is on, autolock on the clutch, and kill switch on. And I'm still paranoid!

 

To everyone that has the papers for there car I hope you all get ant bites all over because I hate you all.

So cool that you guys have all the papers, keep them in a well kept area so they can't be damaged.
