I just did a swap on my crx i put a b16a jdm in it. And the idle is bad, if i take the exhaust off, and its runin straight headers the car idles at 2500rpm. If the exhaust is on, the car sputters and dies, after couple secs. Now, is antioch in antioch in cali, that can come help me, ill pay you to help me fix it!! i really need my car

 

Probably a clogged cat.

 

Check your cat. and see if its clouged.

 

thats what im starting to think, but how can that be, i used that cat with my other b16, im using the same exhaust?? .......and the bad thing is that the cat is one piece with my exhaust lol.......the guy i bought my rex from had it welded one piece if i was to check it, i would have to cut it off, and weld it back on

 

you have a HEADER, not HEADERS.

 

Just take a pry bar, and litterally punch it thru the cat. Then try to start it up. It will more then likely start to ruin your resonator or muffler as peices of it go down the piping, but it will fix the problem for now.
