Default Good deal for an 02'

The dealership I walked out of the other day called me back to try and make a deal. Here's the best I got them to do, 21,750 for an 02 black w/ red int. w/ 39k plus 7000 for my 00 Celica GT-S with 75k on it. Good deal.... should I take it or hold out for more? Oh yea they are givin 2 yrs of free oil changes.

Is that the OTD price? Anyway, it'd be better if you can sell your car first, as it'll give you better leverage.

And I'm sure they'll be using .95 cent Pennzoil and FRAM filters for those oil changes.

I said I would take the car for 21500 but they say they can't do it. The car is in perfect condition, but I still would hate to call them and accept their offer.... they need to accept mine!!

If they called you back, it means you have the leverage. Work with it, either get a lower price on the car, or a better trade in value. P Nut has a point though, selling the car as owner might get you better than $7k.

Problem is my carbon fiber hood is falling appart, the car needs brakes and the baffles in the exhaust are falling appart. So its a little difficult to sell private party. When they called me today I started negotiating from the number I walked out of the dealership at which was 22900 for the car and 7000 for mine. So I have definatly made some progress, I just wanna make sure I am getting a good deal.

i went to a honda dealer ship and they have an 01' w/ 39k and they are selling it for $19,885. it has a few scratches and on top of that both of the sideskirts have holes in then from aftermarket sideskirts. if anything ill talk them down. They dont sell too many around MA.

The big thing is that my Celica was a POS, here's a list of everything it needed. ---New hood(my cf one was peeling)
-New brakes all around
-Two new rims(mine were badly bent)
-Exhaust(baffles were breaking appart)
-New antenna assembly(someone broke the antenna off and the screw was left in so it could not be taken out)
-car was losing oil, about 2 quarts every 3000 miles
-I think it needed new control arms got some weird sound when stepping on the brakes over bumps

Probably some other things as well. So all in all that car with 75000 miles for $7000, is a really good deal for trade in.

I pick up the car friday or saturday, I will post pictures IMEDIATLY!! PEACE

There's an 02 yellow w/ black interior that is in very good condition near my area. The Infiniti dealer wants $20542 for it. I dropped it down from $21988. Do you guys think it is a good deal? It has a front lip and AEM cold air intake.

you guys could do a lot better through a private owner. I let my 01 w/ 51,000 go for $17,200. It was in great shape. The kid who bought it will end up w/ a clean *** S w/ SW388 for under $18,500. You guys need to do more lookin' instead of going to the stealership.
