my car has been sittin in my garage for over 6 months now and im tired of looking at it. i went to go start it up this morning and its even worse than it was a week ago. i have a vaccum prob, which i dont know how to fix, im pretty sure my alternator is gone and maybe my starter because it wouldnt start and no lights came on. and there is also this clicking noise that happens...dont know wat that is...any ideas on wat i should do?

where is it located if you are "checking" it.

it has the batt fluid in there...and its jus been sittin in my backseat for 2 mns...why would it be dead?

just because it has fluid does not make it a good battery. jump the car.

To Make sure. GET AN F-ING MULTIMETER and MAINTAINANCE MANUAL!!!!!!!!!!

You can avoid posting up a lot of pointless threads if you had those two things.

Let's see, no lights...obviously a battery or fuse issue. Starter won't crank over, battery or starter is fucked...but it clicks, that means it's trying to go but doesn't have to power to activate the solenoid. My golly gee, I think we should the culprit, it's the stupid battery. Jump the car and it will be fine. Regular batteries that sit lose there charge, infact, most go 'flat' and will never hold a charge again. Next time don't cheap out and get a red top. That's a dry cell battery that takes longer to die, and will always, without fail, hold a charge. Cheapo.
