Default 2003 & aftermarket MP3 players

I just bought a 2003 Accord EX and I would like to install a MP3 CD Player/Radio. If I do this will I lose the radio controls on the steering wheel?

the audio/security/video section isnt too fast...i wanna say taht you won't lose your controls...you have to do something very specific though...i've seen some type of eclipse h/u with a screen that used the steering wheel controls on a tc...so idk...

Yes, you will lose your steering wheel controls, unless you purchase and install an interface module like the SWIX, made by PAC. Usually runs ~$50 for the part. Please note that it's been my experience that these things are a pain in the ***** to set up. Probably easier to just get an aux input adapter for your car and run a portable (iPod or whatever) in that way...

you can go with a stock mp3 player.

Look for MP3 / WMA / CD-A Player on http://handa-accessories.com/accelect03.html.

It's an alternative, but those things more than more than the aftermarket MP3 player.

If you go with an Alpine head unit you can buy the PAC Swi-Alp to retain the steering wheel controls.
